W Series Brands Hatch Final: A Visual Essay

Launched in 2018, the W Series is the first ever all-female single-seater motor racing championship. 18 drivers have raced a total of six events over the past four months, coming to an end in the UK at Brands Hatch in August.

Britain’s Alice Powell won the series finale, with Finland's Emma Kimilainen second and the Netherlands’ Beitske Visser in third. British-favourite to win Jamie Chadwick may have only grasped fourth after a dramatic battle in the final race, but she’d done enough to win the W Series overall, beating Visser by 10 points and taking home $500,000 in prize money.
